Welcome to Smithfield City Fire Department Emergency Medical Services.

What We Do:
The Smithfield Fire Department prides itself in providing quality and safe medical treatment & transport of the sick or injured.  

All EMS personnel maintain certifications as Paramedics, Advanced EMTs or Basic EMTs. Smithfield Fire Department personnel continually participate in ongoing EMS training that includes Emergency Vehicle Operations, Advanced Life Support, Ice Rescue, Rescue Task Force (Active Shooter).

Smithfield Fire Department provides top of the line apparatus and equipment with incorporated technology. Examples of this technology include Zoll cardiac monitors, mechanical CPR devices, power gurneys, and a mobile ventilator.

Who We Serve:
Smithfield Fire Department serves the Residents and Businesses of Smithfield, Hyde Park, Richmond, Amalga and Benson.  With assistance from local First Responders, Smithfield Fire Department Ambulances also have the opportunity to serve the Residents of Lewiston, Trenton, Clarkston, Cove, and Newton and all unincorporated areas of Cache County North of 3000 North.  Additionally, Smithfield Fire Department responds through automatic aid in North Logan, Logan, River Heights, Providence
