Pre-School Storytimes registration begins September 7

Children ages 3 to 5 are invited to attend these 30 minute storytime programs which include: stories, songs, flannel board stories, puppet & simple craft activities. Children are introduced to new authors & illustrators and while storytime is not intended to replace time spent reading in the home, it is designed to aid in developing listening, thinking and social skills.

Each storytime group is limited to 14 children and each child needs to be 3 years old by the first day of the 8 week session he/she wishes to attend.

When registering, please select 1 of the following groups to attend during the 8 week session:

Monday 11:30 or 1:00

Tuesday 11:30 or 1:00

Wednesday 12:00 or 1:30

Toddler Storytime registration begins September 7

These storytimes are intended for toddlers & caregivers to share. This program introduces children to the library and offers 2-year-olds an opportunity to learn though sharing, listening & repetition. Children, along with a parent or caregiver, will participate in songs, stories, finger games, rhymes, imagination activities, movement & other activities selected for a toddler's developmental level.

Time is allowed at the beginning of each program for playing with toys & puzzles or reading while the group is arriving. There is a simple art activity at the end of each program along with time to explore and for parents to chat.

A child must be at least 2 years old by the first day of the 8 week session he/she wishes to attend.
