Hardware Ranch WMA offers a unique opportunity to get up close to wild Rocky Mountain Elk on a horse drawn sleigh.  Beginning Dec 8, 2017 until Feb 26, 2018, Hardware Ranch is open Mon & Fri 12 noon - 4:30 pm, and Sat & Sun 10 am - 4:30 pm.  Tickets are sold in the Visitors Center.  $5 ages 9 & up, $3 ages 4-8, children 3 & under are FREE.

2017 Elk Festival
Join us for our annual Elk Festival on Dec 9, 2017 at Hardware Ranch Wildlife Management Area.  There are lots of free activities for the kids!  Fish printing, habitat ornaments, mountain men, and much more!! Winter rides among the elk will be running at the regular price.  $5 ages 9 & up, $3 ages 4-8, ages 3 & under are FREE.

The HEAT Program is a federally funded assistance program designed to help low-income, elderly and disabled households with home energy costs.

The HEAT program is open Nov 1 through April 30th or until federal funds are exhausted.

Eligibility and benefit amounts are determined by number of U.S. residents or permanent residents in the household, household income, household size and energy costs (fuel and electric bills). Household must be under 150% of the Federal Poverty Level.

HEAT benefits are a one-time payment and will not cover your entire winter heating costs.

The HEAT Program is located in the BRAG Offices at 170 N Main in Logan.

The Civic Center (50 E 100 N) will open for Smithfield residents to walk beginning November 27th and continue through the month of February.
The following schedule, rules & regulations will apply:

Open: Mon, Weds, Thurs with the following exceptions:
Closed: 12/25, 1/01, 1/15, & 2/19

Walking times:
8:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. Mon, Weds, Thurs

Please stay in designated walk areas on the outside of the court
No food or drink allowed. Water allowed in capped spill proof containers only.
No boom boxes allowed – music may be listened to with headphones only.
Children must be supervised at all times and remain in designated areas or in strollers. No toys,
balls & etc. on court during designated walking times.
Smithfield City reserves the right at anytime to refuse use of any facility to any group or
individual who has violated any of the conditions, rules, or regulations governing the use of the
The city reserves the right to close the facility at any time for maintenance, programs, building
rentals, or for other city uses.
Groups or individuals using the facility are responsible to pay for any damage to or loss of City
property connected with such use. Smithfield City will not be responsible for the loss, damage, or
theft of equipment or articles owned by the user.

Groups or individuals use the facility at their own risk.
