Each month the library hosts a book club for any patrons who would like to attend. To participate, sign-up at the library for the group time you'd like to attend. If you need to borrow a copy of the book they are available at the front desk for check out. Books available 1 month prior to meeting.

Each Book Club in a Bag kit comes with:

  • 8 copies of a particular title
  • discussion questions
  • tips for hosting an enjoyable book discussion.


To Check out a Book Club Bag:

  • Bags may be checked out for six weeks. They are not renewable.
  • The kit will be checked out on the library card of the person picking up the bag. That patron is completely responsible for the bag and all of its contents.
  • No more than 1 kit may be borrowed at one time by a patron.
  • Overdue fines are $1.00 a day. Kits that are returned incomplete will be fined $1.00 a day once the due date is reached until the missing part is returned.
  • Replacement cost for an entire kit is $75.00. The replacement cost of individual parts of a kit will depend on the cost of each individual item.
  • The Book Club-in-a-Bag kit must be returned with all its contents at the same time.
  • Kits must be returned inside the Library (please do not put them in the bookdrop).
